Breeding the drive, size, and muscle you see in a working Giant Schnauzer into a dog that will also excel in AKC conformation, and be of the upmost health and vigor. Yes, you can have it all! Our pups make wonderful family pets, working dogs, and excellent therapy/service dogs. Parents are WORKING DOGS on our FARM. We health test our parents for VWBTHYROIDHIPS and EYES. We also champion title many of our adults in conformation. Breeding for protective nature and drive to work.

Always call before making a payment to make sure puppy you want is available and so I can watch for your incoming payment. You can always call me to walk you through the payment process: Tina; 816-866-6104.

The Giant Schnauzer is the largest of the Schnauzer dogs. The average female will weigh from 55 – 75 pounds, and the average male reaches 60 – 85 pounds. But, these dogs can actually grow up to 110 pounds or more in weight. We never guarantee adult size to be on the bigger side but many of our pups have ended up 20 lbs heavier than the breed average you see here. The Giant Schnauzer breed is protective, loyal, and intelligent. They can also be rambunctious as a puppy with instinct to heard. So, socialization and training are important from a young age.

HEALTH GUARANTEE / PURCHASE CONTRACT:

Recently I have decided to do away with our two-page puppy contract since it was lengthy and confusing to many new puppy adopters, and many did not have means to print it out, scan, and then email to us… We feel these few statements below clearly state the main points from the past guarantee. When you fill out the PURCHASE FORM it will ask if you have read and AGREE to this guarantee and every page of our website. You will have to choose YES to be approved for a puppy. If you have any questions, please have no hesitation in reaching out to me.

Main Points: We guarantee against any life-threatening genetic defects. We ask you to get your dog fixed as an adult if it is not approved for full AKC for breeding and or showing in AKC conformation, All pups are sold with Limited AKC no matter price of pup. Full AKC is only given at breeder’s discretion to approved homes only.

Please keep in touch with us and call us if you are concerned in any way or feel you did not have the best customer service from us. We are here to help you and buyer satisfaction is very important to us. We try to be as fair as possible in every situation and if you tell us there was a problem and actually care enough to call to discuss it with us we will be there for you and you will be happy with the results. You should expect a follow up phone call or email a little while after receiving your puppy to see if you have any new owner questions and see how puppy is doing. If for some reason you don’t hear from us, please reach out to us, we want to help you with your new puppy transitioning into your family. After you receive your puppy Please remember to fill out a puppy buyer Review / Testimonial on that page of our website so people can see how you rated your experience. Of coarse if ever unhappy we ask you to contact us directly first, to give us the fair chance to make it right with you.

No need to Print this Guarantee out to sign and return to me. The puppy Purchase Contract  / Payment Form will ask you to check a box that you agree in full with it and that is all I need to show you agree in full to the Puppy Health Guarantee / Purchase Contract. You may want to print it out for your own records and for your vet to keep on hand in your file if you like.

Guarantee: Read Full Website including training page, puppy care page, blog, (EVERY PAGE OF SITE), to make sure this is the correct breed for your family before submitting any payment. If you buy a puppy from us you agree to the following and you have also read and agree to all pages of our website. If any issues arise with your puppy you the buyer agree to contact the seller immediately. Do not apply for one of our pups if you have several dogs. We do not adopt out to those that have several dogs in a breeding program, or even have too many pets. This breed needs one on one attention and so need to be the only or one of just a few pets. This also protects pup from going to a possible puppy mill situation. We are very strict on who we give full breeding rights to and will want references and to talk to your vet. even if you are adopting a pup for a family pet. We will also be doing a background check. So don’t waste your and our time if you have EVER been affiliated with a breeding situation that has more than one or two breeds. We are fine if you may have a small breeding program like ours, but if it ever comes to our attention you have several breeds or several dogs, we hold the right to take back our dog and to revoke your AKC registration for the dog. We hold the right to take back any puppy or dog that is found to be in a unsafe or neglected home.

Seller agrees puppy is in good physical condition at time of sale. If at your first vet visit, dated within 3 business days of receiving your puppy, your vet finds something severely wrong with the puppy that the breeder’s vet missed, and makes pup not be the quality you paid for, you may return puppy within 3 business days for a refund of purchase price or replacement puppy, “which”, will be at seller’s discretion. After this date guarantee is only for life threatening genetic defects, although we will work with buyer if something comes up that is not life threatening in a fair professional manor. If your puppy has a life threatening genetic defect before it turns a year of age we will give you another puppy when you are ready for a new puppy. Seller’s vet is the person who determines what will be considered life threatening and  severity of issue and future prognosis after reviewing the Buyer’s vet record and vet statement and then consulting with Buyer’s vet. Puppy’s microchip must be on any vet reports submitted to  Seller’s vet for review. Any and All transportation / shipping costs will be paid by Buyer. We do not give a health guarantee on a REPLACEMENT puppy which is considered a free puppy. Only exception is if it is an even trade for a puppy that was a highest priced $3500 puppy buyer has returned with a major fault and so will receive another $3500 quality puppy with same 3 day return policy. Any time a dog is returned or replaced Registration papers must be returned to Seller.  If buyer is keeping the dog that is found to have a life threatening genetic disorder, buyer needs to also send proof the defective dog has been neutered/spayed before Seller can replace puppy. Parvo is covered for the first week, (7 days), after transfer, if puppy dies of Parvo buyer will get puppy cost back only, no reimbursement for vet bills.  We would not send another puppy into a home where a puppy had parvo so puppy cost will be refunded, no replacement puppy. Parasites are covered for first week of transfer and if positive for any parasite within that first week we will send a $30 check to help cover a wormer. If soft stools appear get fecal checked for Giardia, Cocci, and worms. Pups continue to pick up parasites so additional wormings will be needed: keep your pet on a monthly parasite prevention and keep pet vaccinated as directed by your vet. A, ($3500 purchase price puppy before any add on such as ears), comes with a vet check to make sure puppy is correct at time of transfer for possible conformation showing, ALL other puppies come as pet quality and may have a small fault. Small faults are not covered by our guarantee. If a puppy has a major fault that is known at purchase it is disclosed to buyer at time of purchase.

If ever Buyer must rehome this pet, buyer is to return dog to Seller if a suitable close family member or close friend home is not available. Buyer will not sell or rehome animal to anyone without written permission from the seller. Seller MUST be contacted if said animal must be rehomed for any reason, and breeder reserves the right to have puppy returned to them. AKC registration is given to the buyer and is not transferable for any reason to anyone else without written consent of breeder. Even if puppy is sold by breeder with full AKC, the registration is meant for the adopter only, and can not be transferred to anyone else. Registration will be revoked and will then be void if it is found out otherwise. If dog needs to be rehomed and is returned to the breeder, the AKC registration paper or AKC certificate must be returned with transfer of ownership signed on back by current owner. We never want one of our puppies to end up at a shelter, rescue, or worse a puppy mill. Dog MUST be ok’d by us (the breeder), to be given to your friend or family member, and is only transferred as a spayed/neutered pet with no registration.  As a responsible breeder, it is our responsibility to make sure all our pups are always in good conditions in a loving family home.

Deposits are non-refundable if buyer changes mind on getting the puppy or decides getting a puppy is no longer suitable for their life. If you send a $500 deposit to get on our deposit list: We will send you litter notifications when litters are born. At 5 wks of age we send you the TIME TO CHOOSE email and text, so you can choose a puppy. You can decide not to get a puppy up to 3 times. But after breeder has offered you a puppy the sex you wanted 3 times and you refuse, you the buyer will be taken off our deposit list and deposit will be forfeited. This is to keep people from just sitting on our list and never choosing a puppy, and never returning my TIME TO CHOOSE messages.  If you do not return my TIME TO CHOOSE message it does not negate you from this policy. If you ignore my email and text I mark you as refusing the offered puppy. Remember you have 3 chances.  Breeder/Seller has first option to choose and keep back a puppy in any litter. However once a specific puppy is chosen by buyer then that puppy can not be chosen by  breeder/seller.  Breeding the dog voids guarantee because no pet should be bred in their first year of life. All pups come with limited registration unless Seller agrees to full registration. Buyer agrees to fix the dog if between 1 year to 2 years of age if bought as a pet and not for breeding or conformation showing. A dog over a year of age is sold “as is”. All Guarantees are for the first year of life.
Things not covered:
We do not cover a reaction to any medicine or vaccine. Watch puppy closely after a vaccine or medicine. Make sure puppy is eating enough and eating the proper food or supplements we tell you to feed.
We do not reimburse for vet bills, so call us so we can help you save money with our experience, some meds and procedures are not always needed. If you need to put the sick dog to sleep because vet bills will be to high that is your decision and we do not judge you on what you can or can’t afford. Keep in mind puppy would still need a necropsy from a state laboratory, (not your personal vet),  to show the dog was sick with a life threatening genetic disorder or died of Parvo within first 7 days of transfer, before we would exercise the guarantee. You can return puppy at any time on a surrender bases if you can not afford your puppy for any reason.
We do not cover any surgical procedures that may need redone or fixed such as ear cropping fixes or tail docking corrections on Giant Schnauzers. The vet that did the procedure would tell you to bring pup back for him to fix free of charge if he made a mistake, so if you live a long distance you may choose to have your local vet crop the ears after you receive your puppy. We do not guarantee a certain length or look on ear crops or tail docks. Ears: vet will crop length to what he feels will give ear best chance of standing for each puppy. He only does a short crop if asked to or if ear needs a short crop to have a chance of standing. If you want ears to stay natural in the event vet feels it has to have the shortest crop you will need to let me know before I take pup to vet for ear cropping. Once I drop pup off vet decides what is best for the puppy. Vet may also decide the ears on the puppy are not croppable, and keep in mind it is still your, (Buyer’s), puppy even if ears are not cropped. No refund is given on a puppy that we have held for you, (Buyer), that is not croppable, other than refund of ear crop $450 fee.  Most pups with ears cropped come newly cropped, and responsibility of the care of the wound and all future posting is solely on the puppy buyer after transfer of puppy. Keep clean to avoid infection. E-collar from your vet may be needed. You will have to post the ears to train them to stand which can be frustrating and hard on both you and the  puppy, that’s why I prefer natural myself and I will not board a puppy with ears newly cropped. Ear cropping is very painful for your pup and your pup can have a bad reaction from the surgery, its still your pup. No refunds are given in event of bad reaction or death from this elective surgery or any sickness from overnight vet stay for surgery. ALL payments for a pup that is to get ears cropped can not be with a credit card or PayPal. And Ear Crop pup must be paid for in full as soon as you choose the puppy, before ear crop. You have read and understand the EAR CROP CARE page of our website which explains proper ear care and has images of possible ear crop lengths your puppy may receive from our vet. I hope you decide on natural ears as to not put pup through the pain and risks involved but that is up to you.
We do not cover color, size, or temperament. We do not cover non life threatening things such as an undesended testicle, low grade joint luxation, small imperfect bite, low grade heart murmur, or other non life threatening issues. However as stated above if issue is noticed at first vet visit on a $3500  puppy you can return the puppy if you wish for another puppy. We do not guarantee breedability on any dog sold. Puppy Buyer must keep “Jordan’s”  as the prefix for puppy’s AKC registered name or guarantee is void and your AKC certificate for the dog will be revoked. We do not guarantee safety of puppy during transport: Transport option such as ground transport, travel nanny, or airline cargo is the choice of the buyer and all responsibility is on buyer. If the buyer is worried about a possible transport miss hap buyer can pick puppy up in person from Seller. Airlines: Airline insurance for cargo is available and if buyer pays for insurance a claim can be made, but keep in mind Airlines do not approve claims and pay out in every case. You will receive flight details by text or email a few days before the flight. If you the buyer do not pick your puppy up on time when flight arrives it is assumed, you have relinquished ownership of your puppy and puppy will be sent back to breeder and sold to someone else. You will not receive a refund in any way since it will cost breeder for the boarding and shipping back on an emergency bases as well as breeder boarding and advertising to find new home for puppy. If you still want the puppy that you did not pick up at airport: any boarding needed and shipping back to the breeder will need to be paid before you receive your puppy. Puppy WILL NOT BE SHIPPED BY AIR TO YOU A SECOND TIME. Picking up in person: If your puppy is 8 wks old and time of pick up has come and gone and you the buyer have not picked up your puppy and breeder can not reach you by text or email then it is assumed you have relinquished ownership of your puppy and puppy will be  sold to someone else. You will not receive a refund in any way and will not be sold another puppy.

Limitations of guarantee: Any Replacement or puppy exchange as a remedy is contingent on Breeder having a puppy to offer. If Guarantee is exercised for any reason, there will be no remedy possible if breeder is no longer breeding and therefor has no replacement puppy to offer.

  1. Read this page and entire site, including BLOG page. ABSOLUTELY EVERY PAGE OF OUR SITE MUST BE READ BEFORE A PAYMENT IS PLACED! The payment form will ask you if you have read and agree to entire website as well as our puppy health guarantee / purchase contract above.
  2. Call to make sure pup you want is available, and discuss if that pup is a good fit for your family, and approve your payment method.
  3. If you are not picky on parentage than only type future puppy. Put TBD: “to be determined” on dob, and shipping date. If you want a pup that is priced cheaper you will need to pay the difference so pup sells at the $3500 price, and pup must be quality enough for full AKC. 4. After you send payment check to make sure your puppy is on hold for your AFTER PAYMENT CLEARS. The next day after sending a deposit, by wire, or paypal please Text or email me to confirm your payment cleared and you are added to the deposit list. Mailed in payments may take longer.

Deposits and Payments:

I do take deposits for future litters so if you are wanting to be on the list for one of our upcoming litters you are welcome to call me to discuss who is bred. Regarding any deposit for a future puppy: As of this date I will start to implement a new policy. I have had people on my deposit list that keep refusing to choose a puppy or never return my emails and calls to choose a puppy. So as of this date, if you place a deposit you will be offered a puppy of the sex you wanted up to 3 times. You can choose a pup or choose to wait. But after 3 times of offering buyer a puppy and buyer not wanting one, Buyer will be removed from deposit list and deposit will be forfeited. If you do not return my emails and phone calls to choose, that does not negate you from this policy. It is a puppy offer, If I emailed and texted you pup(s) to choose, even if you do not return my messages. If you want a puppy real far in the future you can tell me when to start contacting you for the first puppy offer. That way you can be on the list longer, but are not holding up others.

How choosing works: At 5 wks of age I start at top of deposit list and start working my way down. Contacting each person so they can choose a current pup, or choose to wait for another litter. It is first come first served, only exception is if someone wants a top quality puppy, in this case the person that for sure wants a top quality puppy will get to choose from any top quality puppies before someone just wanting a pet quality puppy. If you the buyer states you are “unsure” of quality you want, you are still put behind anyone that has stated they only want a top quality pup. Those who are for sure paying more for a better quality pup must come first in choosing.

How to choose a Puppy: There are 3 different ways you can choose the puppy you want. 1. You are always welcome to come visit puppies and choose one yourself just before 5 wks of age, keep in mind it is first come first served with deposits, only exception are those that state they for sure only want a top quality puppy, read choosing info in paragraph above.  2. I can choose for you, in which case you can tell me what you want in a puppy and I can find the one that most fits that when I get to you on list. You can not later decide you do not want the puppy once chosen on any puppy, or you forfeit your deposit and any money sent. or 3. you can choose an available puppy from the litter email I sent you, or off of site if on site. At 5 to 6 weeks of age I take individual pics, microchip, and  email to everyone on the deposit list to choose from. I will put any pups still available after everyone has chosen on the website. Puppies are on a first payment in bases once pups are listed on the website for open sale to everyone publicly. If there is a puppy you are interested in, you need to send your deposit in asap. If I receive two deposits for the same puppy the first deposit gets the puppy and I return any other deposit back or it can be slid to another available or future puppy. After your deposit is received that puppy is on hold for you until the remaining amount is owed at 6 weeks of age, if puppy is to be shipped. If picking up in person the remainder can be paid in cash at pick up at 8 wks of age. Please remember if you have changed your mind please contact us. Others may be interested in this puppy to, and we are holding it for you. Final amount owed on a puppy must be paid when the puppy is 6 weeks old, to allow time for payments to be cashed before puppy is transferred and allow for vet checks on shipped pups. In the case of a puppy you are interested in being over six weeks of age, payment in full is due immediately. If you are picking your puppy up in person you can pay the remaining amount at that time in “CASH”. Thank you for your consideration to us and others!!!! To make a deposit call me first to make sure the puppy is available then you can send us a payment through one of the options listed above. You will need to click the Purchase button on this page and fill out the form so I have your personal info for my records. If you place a deposit it cannot be refunded for any reason. In the event that the puppy you wanted is not born, or in the event of sickness or death of your puppy while in my custody, your deposit will be slid to another puppy/litter of your choice. If there is not a litter due to be born within a reasonable amount of time I may decide to return your deposit as to not hold you up on getting a puppy. Once the puppies are born and you choose the puppy you want us to hold for you, your $500 deposit is forfeited if you change your mind on the purchase for any reason. Of course I want you, (the buyer), to be happy with the puppy you have chosen and we can talk about maybe putting the deposit on a different puppy if the one you wanted is a lot different quality than expected, and has not yet been transferred to you. Always call before making any payment to make sure that pup is available.

PRICING: AS OF 12-6-21… All limited AKC pups are now $3000 and  top quality pup, with or without full akc is a $3500 pup. If you placed your deposit on or after 12-6-21 This is the new pricing, you will pay for your pup.

We no longer sale pups with a grading scale. All pups from all moms  are $3000 limited AKC.  A top quality puppy with or without full AKC rights is $3500. When it is time to choose your puppy, contact me to see if the pup you like is good enough quality for full AKC if that is wanted.

PET QUALITY: Good quality pet, male or female: We sell all puppies with limited AKC papers. So if you want FULL AKC for conformation showing or breeding you will need to call to discuss and puppy might be more expensive than a pet price. Pet quality may have small imperfections but Pet Quality is still a wonderful giant and few people can differentiate these pups from the champions and most likely these can also be shown and place well in conformation if they had full AKC papers. If you’d like to show this pup in conformation or breed call us to discuss if a change in limited to full registration is possible for the puppy. Full AKC is only possible if dog is good enough quality for it.

A pup with Full AKC is $3500, so if you want full papers on your dog that costs less you will need to pay the difference, and this does not include ear crop fee is wanted or shipping fee. All registration limitations are at discretion of breeder. I do not sell breeding dogs to commercial breeders! So if you have a bunch of breeding dogs please don’t waste my time asking. Small hobby breeders and those just wanting to show their pet in conformation are approved easily. Having a tiny bit of white on the chest does not mean a pup is good quality. There have been many champions with some white on the chest. Most of our pups have no white on them but if this is something that you definitely do not want you need to say it at time of deposit and put it on your Note section of your Purchase puppy form. You also need to ask at time of choosing your exact puppy to make sure pup does not have a white spot. Most Giants just as all black dogs will have more than just black within their coat. The primary color is black but what you feed your dog, where they live, stress, grooming, natural elements, and sun exposure all contribute to how deep the black is on your pup and the texture and quality of the coat. White hairs sprinkled throughout the coat are normal for a black Schnauzer to have and this dog is still considered a solid black Schnauzer color. You can see some examples on our grooming page. If you are showing in conformation a good handler knows the tricks to make a coat deeper black if needed. There are also recipes online that include molasses to get the natural black come back in your giants coat if it has the reddish brown undercoat coming in that is known in this breed. Stripping and carding also help the black stay blacker. A  coat king brush is good for this. It also gets rid of a lot of those pesky white hairs you might see pop up here and there. Read our grooming page for more info. Coats can change on puppies as well. A pup that started off with more of a thick soft coat can loose a lot of the thickness as it grows. I try to give a general guess as to coat type at the 5-6 wk age mark but keep in mind coat can change and coat type is never guaranteed.

We do not guarantee any puppy to be breed-able because it is not possible to know breed-ability on a young puppy. We do not guarantee show quality or champion quality do to too many factors beyond our control once a puppy has left our home as well as a puppy cannot be considered champion quality at 8 weeks of age. Any breeder that says they have a 8 week old puppy that is a definite champion is lying to make the sell.  Most breeders that guarantee show quality are guaranteeing the exact same thing we guarantee below. Which is “at time of sale” the pup has no noticeable major faults that would prevent it from being shown in AKC conformation and has a good structure and stance at 8 wks of age.

GUARANTEE ON TOP $3500 pups:

A pup that is $3500, before any add ons such as ear cropping cost: At your first vet visit dated within 3 business days of purchase, If vet finds a major defect that we missed which is a structural problem that would cause the dog to be disqualified in conformation such as a undesended testicle, you can return it for another puppy within 72 hrs of your vet noticing the defect. Small faults that are not disqualifying faults will not be covered. Pup must be at our home within 72 hrs of vet noticing defect and all registry and shot record papers must be returned, microchip and any registration paper must be switched back to breeder’s name, as well for buyer to receive a replacement pup.  If puppy is not returned within 72 hrs it is assumed that buyer has forfeited this guarantee and no replacement will be given at a later date. Only remedy is puppy exchange, no refunds of any amount. If a major conformation fault is found at a later date that is not life threatening it is not covered. Just FYI All show dogs have small faults, just like there are no truly perfect humans, how you play the game is mastering the art of hiding the small faults of your dog and hoping they are not as noticeable as the faults of the dog standing next to him in the show ring. This is an imperfect world and there is not a PERFECT dog just nice dogs that have really experienced handlers and groomers. We do not guarantee a $3500 pup will place in conformation trials because I have no control over your ear cropping, ear posting, grooming, training, etc… Keep in mind a $3000 pup does not come with full registration for showing in conformation and breeding unless you are approved for it and you pay the additional cost to make it a $3500 pup. You may prefer agility and obedience over conformation, in which you do not need full akc papers, and you are welcome to get your new pup into whatever you choose to do, or just keep him/her as a cherished family pet and or service dog. I do show some of my adults in conformation from time to time. All my pups are Championed Sired, Either US or Champions in a different country. My first Giants I owned were medical service dogs and trained therapy dogs and with puppies and having 5 children at home of my own and running a farm, that pretty much makes a full schedule for us as owners and handlers. Almost all our puppies are sold before being ready to go home. We do this by taking deposits and it’s on a first come first serve basis, (See Choosing Paragraph for details). Deposits are great because it ensures you’ll be getting the dog you want and it allows me to hold that dog for you. Before sending your deposit please get in touch with us first. We want to make sure a giant will be a good fit for you and we’ll also fill you in on current availability and upcoming litters… Keep in mind this pet will be very large and so will need ongoing training. For example: You do not want a 80 to 100 pound dog with issues like chewing, unless you do not care for your furniture and shoes. All puppies chew somewhat, but can easily be trained to only chew on their toys. Make sure before sending a deposit your sure you want a giant because we’re only looking for forever homes. If you ever have to re-home your giant we ask that it comes back to us. If you want to rehome to your friend or family member, we ask that you ok it with us first. No dog from us can ever be resold for any reason without our written permission. We must check out and approve of any new owner. DEPOSITS: The deposit does go towards the purchase price of your Giant. Deposits are non refundable unless we don’t have enough pups to go around due to unforeseen reasons. With that deposit we’ll be holding a dog for you and passing up others who’d like to purchase that pup. When someone backs out of a pup we use the deposit money towards food and boarding expenses while we look for a new home. If you pay in full instead of putting a deposit down and back out we will refund your full purchase price minus the deposit amount. All our adults are well trained in obedience and my first personal Schnauzers were trained medical service dogs, (PSD). Currently my adults are working farm protection dogs. They are all exceptional in intelligence, personality, and over all sound in structure, very healthy and have beautiful coat quality for the breed. Please check out our Puppy Care page and other pages to see grooming feeding, and general care instructions.

NEW OWNER CHECK LIST: Check to make sure all items listed are received with your puppy. Please look at front of shot record to see your pup’s microchip number and the online web address to register it on. First have your vet swipe microchip to make sure it is still working and to see if it has moved from between shoulders/neck back area to another area, this can very well happen and if chip has moved too far, like down a leg or is no longer readable a second chip maybe needed. Follow instructions on the online website to register the chip with your info, chip is blank until you do so.  Read PUPPY CARE page of our site to see what food you need and have it already at your home for when your pup gets there. Make sure to take your shot record  to your first vet visit. A good idea is to print out the HEALTH GUARANTEE paragraph off of this webpage and have your vet keep it in his files. Make your first vet appointment as soon as you know you are getting one of our puppies, appointment date needs to be within 3 business days of receiving your puppy but earlier the better so same day or next day appointment is best.

IF YOU NEED US TO BOARD YOUR PUPPY: If we have to hold a puppy for a buyer past the date it is ready to leave there is a $100 a week boarding fee. Of course we do not charge for delays on our end if puppy is not ready or there is a shipping delay. We only board for a week or two because Giant pups need to be in the home as young as possible to get bonding and training started while small enough to handle easily. I will not board a puppy that has newly cropped ears… dealing with newly cropped ears is stressful for puppy as well as person doing the posting and I don’t want to do it. If ears are cropped then it is done so that as soon as the sutures are removed you are receiving your pup within a few days. In some cases we may ship right after surgery so the shipping fee is not to big and in that case your vet would take sutures out.  Keep in mind an older puppy is bigger so shipping may cost more if boarding is wanted or needed.

SHIPPING: As of 2024 most pups that will be shipped will go via ground transport. Either one of my family members, a friend, or a trusted puppy nanny / transport will bring the puppy to your very door step, so no need to meet anywhere. Puppy will be shipped at or just after 8 wks of age. We ask $625 for this transport. This may change over time, as it was only $325 five yrs ago…

1. SHIPPING CARGO BY PLANE: Shipping an 8 week old puppy to your local airport as of Jan 2020 was $450 – (HAS INCREASED AS OF JUNE 2020 FROM COVID TO $660, and still may go up), within the lower 48 states, shipping is also available at a little higher cost to other places such as but not limited to Alaska, Canada, Puerto Rico etc, (NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE LOWER 48 STATES AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID). … Price is subject to change if airlines change prices. Older or bigger pups will cost more to ship by plane because of their size so may need to go ground transport if it is to costly for you. Flying your pup is generally safe and our pups are well socialized so being shipped is easier on them. We get them used to their crate and they feel safe in it before they ship. Everyone says their pup is happy and healthy when picked up at the airport. I mainly ship Delta, United, Alaska, and American but sometimes use other airlines as well. All airlines I use to ship pups have special handling procedures for pets and take good care of the animals. We do not guarantee safety of puppy during transport: *Transport option such as ground transport, travel nanny, or airline cargo is the choice of the buyer and all responsibility is on buyer. If the buyer is worried about a possible transport miss hap buyer can pick puppy up in person from Seller. Airline insurance for cargo is available and if buyer pays for insurance a claim can be made, but keep in mind Airlines do not approve claims and pay out in every case. *I have never had an issue with the  puppy arriving just fine to it’s destination. You will receive flight details by text or email a few days before the flight. If you the buyer do not pick your puppy up on time when flight arrives it is assumed you have relinquished ownership of your puppy and puppy will be sent back to breeder and sold to someone else. You will not receive a refund in any way since it will cost breeder for the boarding and shipping back on an emergency bases. If you still want the puppy that you did not pick up at airport: any boarding needed and shipping back to the breeder will need to be paid before you receive your puppy. Puppy WILL NOT BE SHIPPED BY AIR TO YOU A SECOND TIME.

I, Ship all my pups going by air cargo on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Which day is dependent on my work schedule and weather. I will know what day I will be shipping around 2 to 4 days before the flight. So you will need to keep your schedule open. I have many ask me to get pup to them at a certain time of day. The flight times are not up to me but are fully dependent on weather and other factors such as when other pups I am shipping will be leaving my airport. I will have the flight details 2 days before your puppy ships to you and email or text them to you that day. The flight details say where pick up location is at your airport so you can call your local airport and ask them where that location is in the airport. Before you leave home check the airline’s website with your cargo tracking airway bill number to make sure flight is running on time. Take wet wipes with you in case puppy had an accident in his crate. DO NOT ALLOW PUP TO WALK ON GROUND IN OR OUT OF THE AIRPORT!!! To many other dogs have been there and you don’t want your new pup to pick up any germs or parasites.

2. Pet Nanny Transport by Ground transport: In some cases ground transport is needed. I have never had a bad experience or a pup come up sick I sent out on a ground transport. *I have seen pups pick up parasites from this method because they are taking dogs out to potty at rest stops all along the route but all pups have had frontline topical before leaving us and are wormed every 2 wks as well. If you prefer I can tell the transport person that you want your pup to remaining crated at all times and tell them to use puppy potty pads instead of walking the puppy to reduce risk of transmission of illness or parasites. A time I might use a ground transport is when weather is too harsh to ship by airplane or in older larger puppies. Ground shipping is $625 and is a door to door service. Ground transports use their own crates to transport in and sometimes have dog in seat uncaged.  Puppy will come with bag of his items such as toy and food and all papers included. I have done private ground transport nannies enough to know many people and so your pup will most likely be with someone I have used many times before and trust… It may even be one of my family members.

3. AIR NANNY BY PLANE: (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO COVID) Those who are wanting to pay a little extra for first class type of service. This is only available for 8 wk old puppies since they are small enough still to fly in cabin.  This is not an option during slow airline times such as during the 2020 pandemic and similar times. An air Nanny can take your puppy for you from our airport to your local airport and you or your representative meets them there when their flight arrives. Air Nanny’s fly on stand by so your pup may get delayed at airport or overnight with the air nanny who keeps the puppy on them the entire time. Availability of this option  is completely reliant on finding an air nanny that is available when pup is ready and one that is going to your airport. The Nanny has her own carrier for your puppy and any papers I give her will be copies. All originals will be certify mailed to you so she does not loose them. Air Nanny has her own fee which can be around $350 to $700 you will pay her in cash when you receive your puppy from her. No other money is given to air Nanny who is a third party shipper and is not affiliated with our kennel. If I have to meet Air Nanny At airport to give her your puppy I do have a fee that is paid to me of $120 which includes needed vet health certificate puppy will need if going on an airplane.

4. Meet New Owner at our local airport: For $120 which includes the vet health certificate needed to fly by plane we can meet you or your representative at Kansas City International Airport. Please ask what day and times we would  be available to meet before booking a flight, call, text, or email with several options to discuss. You will need to let the airline know you will be going back home with a puppy so they can book you a seat on plane that is ok for that. You will need to bring a soft sided airline approved carrier for your puppy. Any amount owed can be paid in cash at pick up. This and picking up at our home in person are the two safest options for your pet, because pup is given directly to you.

5. Picking Up From Our Home: (Jordan Giants) is located 10 minutes from Archie, MO … which is 80 to 90 minutes south of Kansas City International Airport with no traffic. You are welcome to come visit and pick up in person. Please contact us to see what the best day and time is to do that, call or text with several options in mind. Please keep in mind if you need or want a health certificate from vet it will cost $50 and we will need time to  get pup into vet for that. If no health certificate, the puppy still comes with a vet paper stating it has been seen by vet and is healthy. Any amount owed can be paid in cash at pick up. This and new owner meeting us in person at airport to fly pup in cabin are the two safest options for your pet. If you pick up from our home or come visit at any time you must not bring any other animals with you. Full bio-security for the safety of our puppies and adult dogs. IF MEETING AT OUR HOME: Due to Covid as well as safety of my family, we will be staying outside social distancing. You will still be able to see the parent dogs outside. I will have puppy outside for you as well as your Puppy Take Home Bag.

Shipping continued:

*IS TRANSPORT VIA AIRLINE OR GROUND TRANSPORT SAFE?

This info was written before 2021: I get asked a lot if airline shipping is safe for pets. After over 20 yrs of experience shipping by air cargo and much research I have come to the conclusion yes shipping a pet is generally safe. In fact since the new FFA animal regulations started in 2000 there are less animals reported hurt than humans on flights. I took a look at the online consumer complaint reports on transportation.gov… here you will see complaints of all kinds from plane delays to someone stubbing their finger on a baggage conveyor. Just taking US flight complaints from Jan to March 2017 you will find over 3700 US airline complaints and 0 were animal complaints if I read it correctly. When there is an animal complaint many are not puppies but animals such as geckos, fish, and such. If you look hard enough online you will find horror stories of something bad happening to a persons pet in cargo but you have to consider the thousands of pets that fly every day without any issues at all. We live in an imperfect world so something bad can happen no matter how cautious the transporters are so if you want a 100% assurance your pet will be safe you should plan on picking up your pup in person. If you want airline insurance put on your puppy so that you are reimbursed in case of airline negligence that causes injury or death then please add $10 for every $1000 of insurance wanted. This is not included in the shipping fee so if you want this protection you will need to let me know and add it to puppy add on fees so I can pay for the insurance when I book the flight.

Is transport traumatizing to a pet? I can say in all my experience shipping by air cargo I can not recall a puppy buyer contacting me after receiving their pup stating the pup was absolutely traumatized from the trip. A pup might be a tad hesitant or shy from seeing new people, sites, and sounds, but never hurt or traumatized. In general, a young pup is more easy going and has a natural submissive nature due to its young age which helps protect it against this kind of stress. A pup might show some signs of stress from the change in environment but a young pup should not be traumatized by a flight. Now of coarse accidents do happen from time to time but I can say in over 20 yrs I haven’t had any negative things such as injury or death happen to any of the pups I have shipped. I have seen some communicable diseases though, so if your worried about your puppy catching a disease such as Kennel cough or Parvo, or parasites such as fleas, ticks, cocci, from another animal while on the plane I would suggest meeting me at our airport, (MCI Kansas City International), so pup can fly in cabin with you or picking your pup up in person yourself some other way.

If you have any questions, please have no hesitation in reaching out to me.

Main Points: We guarantee against any life-threatening genetic defects. We ask you to get your dog fixed as an adult if it is not approved for full AKC for showing in AKC conformation, All pups are sold with Limited AKC no matter price of pup.

The puppy Payment Form will ask you to check a box that you agree in full with it and that is all I need to show you agree in full to the Puppy Health Guarantee / Purchase Contract.

How to choose a Puppy: There are 3 different ways you can choose the puppy you want. 1. You are always welcome to come visit puppies and choose one yourself just before 5 wks of age, keep in mind it is first come first served with deposits, 2. I can choose for you, or 3. you can choose an available puppy from the litter email I sent you, or off of site if on site. At 5 to 6 weeks of age I take individual pics, microchip, and  email to everyone on the deposit list to choose from. I will put any pups still available after everyone has chosen on the website. Puppies are on a first deposit in bases. After pups are listed on the website for open sale to everyone publicly and there is a puppy you are interested in, you need to send your deposit in asap. If I receive two deposits for the same puppy the first deposit gets the puppy and I return any other deposit back or it can be slid to an available or future puppy.

PRICING: AS OF 12-6-21… All limited AKC pups are now $3000 and full akc is a $3500 pup. If you placed your deposit on or after 12-6-21 This is the new pricing, you will pay for your pup.

We no longer sale pups with a grading scale. All pups from all moms  are $3000 limited AKC.  Full AKC from any bitch is a $3500 puppy.

Pup must be at our home within 72 hrs of vet noticing defect and all registry and shot record papers must be returned as well for buyer to receive a replacement pup. We do this by taking deposits and it’s on a first come first serve basis. If you ever have to re-home your giant we ask that it comes back to us and will pay for shipping if needed.

TRANSPORT AND SHIPPING:

(COVID 19 / CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: Although we are ALL social distancing at this time puppies are still being born and are available for homes… We are able to have your puppy delivered to your front door if you are not leaving your home. You are also welcome to come pick up your puppy in person as always if you wish.)

KEEP IN MIND SHIPPING FEES DURING COVID HAVE INCREASED TO $625, if you see some place it says $450 that was shipping fee before covid.

Shipping and Transferring puppy info:

SINCE COVID MOST PUPPIES ARE BEING TRANSPORTED BY CAR TO YOUR HOME. MOST LIKELY THIS IS HOW YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR SHIPPED PUPPY. A FRIEND, FAMILY MEMBER, OR A NANNY TRANSPORT I HAVE USED AND TRUST WILL BRING YOU YOUR PUP IN MOST CASES FOR $660.

Shipping types: 1. AIR CARGO BY PLANE TO YOUR AIRPORT, 2.GROUND TRANSPORT IN CAR TO YOUR HOME, 3. AIR NANNY BY PLANE-Not available during covid or similar low airline times. 19. 4. MEET NEW OWNER AT OUR LOCAL AIRPORT (KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL), IF YOU ARE FLYING IN. OR 5. NEW OWNER IS WELCOME TO COME PICK PUP UP IN PERSON AT OUR HOME NEAR ARCHIE, MO.

Keep in mind I can not even book the transport until puppy is paid for in full so please make sure your puppy is paid for well before week of shipping date.

PUPPY COMES WITH: All pups come freshly groomed with a bath, brush out, ears cleaned out, nail clipping, sanitary area trimmed if needed. (Your puppy will come in a plastic crate you keep, if transport is shipping Cargo by plane, with all papers and food attached to top of crate in a baggy. HEALTH CERTIFICATE IS FOR FLYING ON PLANE AND IS INCLUDED IN CARGO SHIPPING COST AND MEET AT AIRPORT TRANSPORT COST, IF SHIPPING ANY OTHER WAY YOU WILL GET A PAPER STATING LITTER HAS BEEN SEEN BY THE VET BUT YOU WILL NOT GET AN ACTUAL HEALTH CERTIFICATE UNLESS YOU SAY YOU WANT ONE AND PAY $50 FOR ONE.) If Pup is transported any other way there is no crate, and Items listed will be in a bag handed to you. Items: Puppy shot record, (vet health certificate-only if shipping by plane unless paid for and if no health certificate than you will receive vet paper stating litter was seen and pup is healthy), Puppy AKC registration application, Nuvet Supplements, Life’s Abundance puppy kibble, if not shipped by cargo pup may also come with a toy.

CHECK: Check to make sure all items listed are received with your puppy.

IF YOU NEED US TO BOARD YOUR PUPPY: If we have to hold a puppy for a buyer past the date it is ready to leave there is a $75 a week boarding fee.

1. SHIPPING CARGO BY PLANE: Shipping an 8 week old puppy to your local airport as of Jan 2020 was $450 – (HAS INCREASED AS OF JUNE 2020 FROM COVID TO $660), within the lower 48 states, shipping is also available at a little higher cost to other places such as but not limited to Alaska, Canada, Puerto Rico etc, (NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE LOWER 48 STATES AT THIS TIME DUE TO COVID).

3. AIR NANNY BY PLANE: (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO COVID) This is a favored choice of those who are wanting to pay a little extra for first class type of service.

This and picking up at our home in person are the two safest options for your pet.

5. Picking Up From Our Home: (Jordan Giants) is located 10 minutes from Archie, MO … which is 80 to 90 minutes south of Kansas City International Airport with no traffic. My daughter Sierra and her puppies at (Diamond W) live near Holden, MO which is a little further from airport. IF MEETING AT OUR HOME: Due to Covid we will be staying outside social distancing and please come wearing a mask. You will still be able to see the parent dogs outside. I will have puppy outside for you as well as your Puppy Take Home Bag.

*IS TRANSPORT VIA AIRLINE OR GROUND TRANSPORT SAFE?

I get asked a lot if airline shipping is safe for pets.

I do take deposits for future litters so if you are wanting to be on the list for one of our upcoming litters you are welcome to call me to discuss who is bred. There are 3 different ways you can choose the puppy you want. 1. You are always welcome to come visit puppies and choose one yourself, 2. I can choose for you, or 3. you can choose an available puppy from the website. At 5 to 6 weeks of age I take individual pics of each puppy and place them on their litter page. I also price each puppy at this time. Puppies are on a first deposit in bases. So if there is a puppy you are interested in you need to send your deposit in asap. If I receive two deposits for the same puppy the first deposit gets the puppy and I return any other deposit back. After your deposit is received that puppy is on hold for you until the remaining amount is owed at 6 weeks of age. Please remember if you have changed your mind please contact us. Others may be interested in this puppy to, and we are holding it for you. Final amount owed on a puppy must be paid before the puppy is 6 weeks old, to allow time for payments to be cashed before puppy is transferred and allow for vet checks on shipped pups. You will need to click the Purchase button on your puppy and fill out the form so I have your personal info for my records. Don’t forget to also print out, sign, and return the health guarantee contract! I do not give refunds. Once the puppies are born and you choose the puppy you want us to hold for you, your deposit is forfeited if you change your mind on the purchase for any reason. Of course I want you, (the buyer), to be happy with the puppy you have chosen and we can talk about maybe putting the deposit on a different puppy if the one you wanted is a lot different quality than expected, and has not yet been transferred to you. Important! You must print, sign, and send us the PUPPY GUARANTEE / PURCHASE AGREEMENT, when you first pay for your puppy. No puppy will be reserved on hold without a signed guarantee / contract on file. Always call before making any payment to make sure that pup is available.

Please look at front of shot record to see if your pup is microchipped. If microchipped follow instructions on registering the chip with your info, chip is blank until you do so. Pup will have food attached to top of crate.  Read PUPPY CARE page of our site to see what food you need and have it already at your home for when your pup gets there. Now is airplane transport traumatizing to a pet? I can say in all my experience shipping by air cargo I can not recall a puppy buyer contacting me after receiving their pup stating the pup was absolutely traumatized from the trip. A pup might be a tad hesitant or shy from seeing new people, sites, and sounds, but never hurt or traumatized. Now of coarse accidents do happen from time to time but I can say in over 20 yrs I haven’t had any negative things such as injury or death happen to any of the pups I have shipped. Ground transport: is not my first choice for a young puppy because in my opinion it is much less stress on a pup to be shipped in half a day by plane than to be stuck in a vehicle for days. Not to mention ground transports just like airlines will have a few other pets also in their transport and that means more time exposed to whatever sickness a strange dog might have. There are times and situations when I have needed a ground transport and I have never had a bad experience or a pup come up sick I sent out on a ground transport. A time I might use a ground transport is when weather is too harsh to ship by airplane or in older larger puppies. Ground shipping varies in cost but is generally around $400 or $500.

Air Nanny: an air nanny is a person you can pay to travel in cabin with your puppy. This person holds your pet throughout the flight. The air Nanny may have one or two other pets they are also holding during flight so your pup would be exposed to those other pets that may not be from me but other breeders I do not know. I recall using an air Nanny when I bought a very expensive toy poodle. The Nanny had two other teacup pups along with my pup In a large sack type purse that were not from the breeder I got my pup from. My pup ended up having a parasite and I wonder if those other two pups had given it to her or she may have exposed them to it. So u see there is even a risk using an air Nanny. Air nanny’s are safer for extremely tiny puppies such as micro puppies because they can give sugar supplements, syringe feed, and watch pup closely during flight. Next time I use an air Nanny I will tell her to keep my pup separate from any other pups she may have at all times. I would suggest you do the same. Air nanny’s are generally around $360-$450 for their fee. The Nanny meets me at my airport and carries pup in cabin with her until plane arrives at your local airport where you meet her for your pup. If you use an air Nanny I have an additional fee paid to me of $120 for the health certificate and gas and time driving to airport to meet your air Nanny. There is no transport guarantee on health more than what the air Nanny is willing to give if using an air Nanny. So you can ask your air Nanny how you would be reimbursed if something happens to your pet by accident while in her care. Pup is still covered by our first yr of life breeder guarantee against any life threatening genetic defects. I only know one air Nanny and I can give you her phone number if you would like to discuss her services with her. All payments owed must be complete before puppy can leave with air Nanny. Air Nanny will not take any payments from you for me, only payment she asks from you is for her travel fee.

What is the safest way to transport your pet? Well that would be you picking up your pup In person of course. You are always welcome to come to my home or I can meet you at the Kansas City international airport. If your pup is flying it will need a health certificate and so the $120 fee for health certificate and time and gas would be needed if I’m meeting you at airport. Or if your picking puppy up at my home and only health certificate is needed that’s only $50. Please make sure you contact your airline to make sure you are approved to fly back home with a puppy in cabin and make sure to bring a soft sided airline approved carrier for in cabin use. Call me before booking flight to discuss days and times I would be available to meet you at airport.

If picking pup up in person any amount owed is due in CASH ONLY since payment would need to clear bank before pup can leave. So that means no cashier checks since that to would have to clear bank which could take 24 to 48 business hrs. Puppies only come with a vet health certificate if you pay $50 for one, most pups that are picked up do not go with a vet exam / health certificate. But if you give us enough time to get pup into vet you are welcome to pay $50 for that if you like. If you paid for shipping then this is included in the quoted shipping fee. Any pup can be brought back within 4 business days for a replacement if your vet finds something we missed that makes pup less quality than you wanted.
